Following a two year tender process run by Magnox Ltd, Executive Compass® are pleased to announce that KAEFER C&D Ltd (a subsidiary company of KAEFER) have been successful in their bid for framework contracts potentially totalling £380 million.
The contracts are for access and insulation services with six Site Licence Companies operating on behalf of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, which include Sellafield Ltd, Magnox Ltd, RSRL, DSRL, NNL and Springfield Fuels.
KAEFER is the world’s largest provider of complete insulation solutions and has operations in over 50 countries. Their operational expertise will ensure the contract is a great success and will also bring major benefits to the region through local employment and training and development opportunities for those residing in the area.
Executive Compass® was employed as the bid team for KAEFER C&D, managing the bid process and writing the tender documents. Taking the expertise and experience of KAEFER C&D, Executive Compass® was able to put together a strong bid for the works, securing the contract.

The contract, which commenced in August of this year, covers sixteen nuclear sites in the UK and will utilise local labour and suppliers, employing innovative techniques and processes which have been proven at KAEFER sites across Europe.
