New CCS Agency – Explaining the Government Commercial Agency

Crown Commercial Services have announced a new procurement agency launching in 2026.

Launching 1 April 2026, the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) will ‘unite all commercial delivery expertise’ across the Cabinet Office and CCS, ultimately driving greater value and better public services.

The GCA will impact over £400 billion per annum of public sector spend and tenders across all industries and sectors.
