Executive Compass support Sense for deafblind people

Executive Compass® is very proud to announce that our chosen charity for 2013 is Sense for deafblind people.

Sense is a national charity that raises money for children and adults with dual-sensory impairments. The charity helps by providing affected persons with specialist services including useful information and advice to enable a better quality of life.

As well as advice and support, Sense offer a wide range of valuable services, including community support centres, housing accommodation and support, one-to-one support, children’s support, holidays and short breaks, and community groups. All of these services are essential and can significantly improve the lives of adults and children with sensory impairments.

The amazing services that Sense provides to its beneficiaries all come at a cost, and without the generous donations from its supporters, the charity would not be able to help those in need. That is why we have decided to push our MD, Neil Capstick, to his limits to raise money for this great cause.

Neil will be running the ‘Marathon of the North’ on 28th April 2013 in aid of Sense and all deafblind children and adults across the UK. We have set an initial target of raising £2000 for this race, and if successful in doing so, Neil has also agreed to run the notoriously difficult Keilder Marathon in October 2013 – dressed as a character of your choice!

There are also other potential fund raising events in the pipeline for Neil and the rest of the staff: John (bid writer) is very keen to complete The Great North Swim in June 2013, Luke (bid writer) is aiming to tackle both the Great North Run and the Blaydon Races, and Amanda (Head of Marketing) is itching to do a skydive!

In the run up to our first fundraising event, Marathon of the North, Neil will be writing about his training progress via his blog, Writer on the Run. We can guarantee that it will be worth a read.

Your support is greatly appreciated and, if you wish, we can give you or your company a special mention in our monthly newsletter in return for your generous donations – which could act as a great ‘extra’ to your marketing efforts.

Or, if you would like to donate to us privately, you can contact us to discuss your donation.

Aside from your kind donations, we are also committing to donate 2% of our professional fees to the charity from now until 28th April 2013. So, by choosing us to write winning PQQs and tenders, you will not only receive an excellent and professional service, but will also be supporting a great cause.

Thank you for your generosity.
